In a small village in the 3 Valley ski zone, this chalet was being purchased as a building project at the place of an old barn. After discussions with the builder some changes were made to the floorplan to allow the chalet to be more suited for family holidays. Walls were clad in reclaimed oak, or white painted, and a darker wooden oak floor was chosen to keep a somewhat more rustic feel to the chalet. Each bedroom got their own colour scheme at the same time as keeping the same intensity of colour throughout the chalet. Several custom-made furniture was purchased and a mix of mainly French and Nordic brands is being used.
